NJPW World Tag League 2023 Dates Revealed

More on NJPW World Tag League 2023

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have confirmed further details about the upcoming World Tag League 2023 tournament.

NJPW have revealed the annual tournament will get underway on November 20 before concluding in Kumamoto on December 10. No talents have been announced for World Tag League 2023 as of yet.

New Japan have held an annual tag team tournament under various names every year since 1991. The tournament has been named 'World Tag League' since 2012. Past winners include EVIL & SANADA, Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma, and The Good Brothers. The tournament has been won by Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI of Bishamon for the last two years. They are the reigning IWGP Tag Team Champions.

The winner of World Tag League traditionally earns a shot at the IWGP Tag Team Championships at Wrestle Kingdom.

The Super Junior Tag League has run concurrently with World Tag League in recent years but the junior heavyweight tag team tournament will instead be held from October 21 until November 4 at Power Struggle in 2023.
