As is tradition, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold their biggest show of the year a few days into 2025 as Wrestle Kingdom 19 will emanate from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday, January 4.
Wrestle Kingdom very much comes at a time when New Japan are in a rebuilding phase, with the likes of NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tetsuya Naito entering the twilight of their careers while Shota Umino, Yota Tsuji, Yuya Uemura, Ryohei Oiwa, and Ren Narita are looking to cement themselves as the stars to lead NJPW for the next several years.
In the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 19, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. will put his belt on the line against Shota Umino. This will be the first time either man has main evented one of New Japan's Tokyo Dome events.

NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 will begin at 5 pm JST inside the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2025.
For fans in the United States, the show will start at 3 am ET/12 am PT.
