Notes On Jake Crist's Return To IMPACT Wrestling

The former X-Division Champion returned on the September 2 edition of IMPACT Wrestling

As seen on the most recent episode of IMPACT Wrestling, former X-Division Champion Jake Crist returned to the company to answer Josh Alexander’s open challenge.

Alexander defeated the former Ohio Versus Everything member in a good bout, and according to a report from Fightful Select, there could be more scope for Crist to work with IMPACT in the future.

Crist left the company in December 2020, having not been used since the summer, in the wake of allegations towards brother Dave Crist and Cancel Culture stablemate Joey Ryan during the #speakingout movement.

Since then, Crist has dropped weight and improved his physical conditioning, and Fightful reports that he is well liked within IMPACT, with ‘several sources within the company specifically mention his creative mind as one of the potential benefits of him being back around the company.’

Despite his appearance on IMPACT Wrestling, Crist remains a free agent, and has recently been playing his trade with IWA Mid-South, amongst other independent promotions across the US.
