'Now It's A One-Man Show' - Roman Reigns Has No Interest In a WWE Shield Reunion
Reigns is enjoying life on his own
Jul 2, 2021
Roman Reigns says he has absolutely no interest in running another Shield reunion in WWE, saying he's enjoying being the solo guy at the top of the card.
Having made his debut in WWE with the Shield in 2012, feuded with former brothers Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and brought the group back together in 2017 and 2019, Reigns is now doing the best work of his career.
As 'The Head Of The Table', Reigns has held the Universal Championship on SmackDown for almost a year and is working alongside his family, Jimmy and Jey Uso.
With all that in mind, Reigns has no desire to return to being one of three guys, when he is the guy now.
Speaking to Peter Rosenberg and Stat Guy Greg for Hot 97 radio, Reigns said: "No. I have respect for everything we did now. A lot of that time was really pivotal for me to learn and gain experience. Be around other performers. See their processes and how they attack things and how they think about things.
"But where I am at now it’s a one-man show. I have the family dynamic with my cousins but at the same time, I call the shots. It’s my thumb that’s down on this pole. So yeah, I don’t think I can share it anymore."
