NWA Adds New Promotion To Territory System

JCP and NWA?!

The National Wrestling Alliance have added another promotion to their relaunched territory system.

NWA owner Billy Corgan announced over the weekend they had formed a partnership with Joe Cazana Promotions. The promotion headed up by former WCW wrestler Joe Cazana has been in operation since 2017, primarily in the Tennessee area. The promotion and NWA held the joint 'How Coalfield Stole Christmas' on December 2 and the likes of Colby Corino, Trevor Murdoch, Mims, and Kenzie Page made appearances at the show.

The NWA territory system was relaunched back in October. The system is aimed at "fostering collaboration, unity and the development of future wrestling stars."

Exodus Pro Midwest, the promotion led by NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion EC3, was revealed to be the inaugural affiliate territory. The arrangement saw the Exodus Pro Midwest Heavyweight Title be officially recognised by the NWA.

The National Wrestling Alliance looked set to have secured a TV deal in recent months with The CW but episodes of NWA Powerrr have only been added to the CW app due to the controversy at Samhain
