NXT Championship Match Set For WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House
A big multi-man match was made on NXT!
Jun 2, 2021
Karrion Kross will defend his NXT Championship in a Fatal-Five Way match at NXT TakeOver: In Your House on Sunday 13 June.
A Number One Contenders Match at the start of the June 1 episode of NXT, between Pete Dunne, Kyle O'Reilly and Johnny Gargano, came to an abrupt and inconclusive end when Adam Cole returned to the black-and-gold brand, laying out all three individuals.
General Manager William Regal and security would lead Cole out of the arena - albeit not before one final Superkick to O'Reilly - before the former leader of The Undisputed Era took to the ring later in the show to declare his intention to get the NXT Championship back.
Cole would call out Kross and the two would exchange barbs, before the reigning champion would tell Regal that he wants to face all four men - Cole, Dunne, Gargano and O'Reilly - at In Your House. The General Manager would grant Kross his request, making the match official.
The bout next weekend will be Kross' second Title defence since winning his second NXT Championship from Finn Balor at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. He retained the gold in a rematch against The Prince last week.
