NXT Dropped From TNT Sports In The UK

NXT will no longer air on TNT in the UK

There are some big changes when it comes to the consumption of NXT in the UK, as the show has been dropped from its usual spot on TNT Sports. For UK fans, WWE’s weekly content of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT has all been airing live on TNT Sports (formerly BT Sports), but per a recent email sent out to fans, this is now being shaken up.

As confirmed by The Metro, NXT will now air exclusively on the WWE Network in the UK, starting from next week’s New Year’s Evil Special on January 3. RAW and SmackDown will remain exclusively on TNT for UK fans in their usual spots, with NXT being the only one of the three to receive the boot.

It isn’t known as of yet why this change has been made and if it will be further altered at any point. This means that fans in the UK will now need a WWE Network subscription at £9.99 to catch NXT live on a weekly basis.
