NXT Talent 'So Close' To WWE Return

An NXT talent will 'so close' to recovering from injury

An NXT developmental talent is close to making their return to WWE.

Tweeting ahead of Tuesday night's edition of NXT, Arianna Grace revealed she is "so close" to recovering from an undisclosed injury.

Grace wrote: "Can't wait to get back to NXT! So close to recovery!!!!! #WWENXT. Wish I was in the women's championship tournament tonight."

Grace did not give an exact timetable on when she will return from injury. She has been out of action since October 2022 and underwent surgery to repair the injury later that month.

The daughter of Santino Marella, Grace initially began her career on the independent wrestling scene in 2020 before signing with WWE in early 2022. She made her WWE in-ring debut on an April 2022 edition of NXT Level Up and she had her first match on NXT proper in May as part of the NXT Women's Breakout tournament.

After more matches across NXT and house shows, Grace hasn't wrestled since the October 4 taping of NXT Level Up where she and Kiana James lost to Fallon Henley and Sol Ruca.
