WWE Have Officially Revealed The Dates For Upcoming Draft
Triple H recently revealed that the 2023 WWE Draft would be approaching very soon, though he didn’t reveal when it would take place. During the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a commercial was aired announcing the upcoming event.
The announcement explained that the WWE Draft would begin in two weeks on the April 28 edition of SmackDown, and then continue onto the May 1 episode of Monday Night Raw in a two night event. It has been some time since WWE shook up their two respective rosters, with the last WWE Draft taking place back in 2021. Since then, the creative powers in WWE have been changed up, and the brand split has eased to the point where the rosters aren’t as defined.
This looks to steady up the brand split, and could potentially be a noteworthy night based on Triple H’s promise that it would “change the game”. He also stated that every WWE superstar would be eligible, hinting at some NXT call-ups.
