Orange Cassidy Vs. Adam Cole "Lights Out" Match Set For 1/26 Dynamite

A big brawl at Beach Break

Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy's rivalry will seemingly come to a head on next Wednesday's Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite, as the two will face off in an anything goes "Lights Out" match.

Cole teamed with AEW Women's champion Dr. Britt Baker to defeat Cassidy and Kris Statlander on Wednesday's Dynamite. Late in the match, Cole and Baker set up a table at ringside. However, it was Baker that ended up getting knocked through it, when Cassidy missed an Orange Punch on Cole inside the ring, overshooting his target and colliding with Baker on the apron, sending her falling through the table.

In all the confusion, an irate Cole gave Cassidy a low blow, then followed with the Boom to score the win.

Backstage, Cole cut a promo, declaring Cassidy to be a thorn in his side, and promised to end it next week, in a match with the aforementioned stipulation.

AEW has used the "Lights Out" stipulation for several high profile encounters. Baker and Thunder Rosa faced off in a critically-acclaimed, especially-bloody "Lights Out" match last March, with Rosa winning.
