With Seth Rollins out of action with injury, it seems as though his participation at WWE SummerSlam 2025 is out of the question.
Rollins recently suffered a knee injury during a singles bout with LA Knight at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL on July 12, with Knight winning the match on the fly despite being originally booked to lose.
A report from BodySlam suggests that Rollins and Knight were originally booked to have a rematch at SummerSlam on August 2 and August 3, with Knight supposed to get his win back against Rollins - before the aforementioned injury and changed plans.
Whilst Rollins is seemingly out of SummerSlam, the report states that so far there has been no chatter as to what Knight could be doing at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’.
Earlier reports also suggested that Rollins was set to cash in his Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam, with Rollins planned to insert himself into the World Heavyweight Championship clash between Gunther and CM Punk. Whether this all comes to fruition is anyone's guess, with some in the industry believing Rollins’ injury to be a work.
