TLC Match Announced For WWE SummerSlam 2025

Friday Night SmackDown ended in chaos last night as the tag team division spilled out to engage in a massive brawl following the DQ ending to the WWE Tag Team Title match between The Wyatt Sicks and Andrade & Rey Fenix. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had had enough by this point, emerging to announce a huge Tables, Ladders & Chairs match.

Following a highly acclaimed triple threat tag team TLC match on the post-WrestleMania 41 SmackDown, even more teams will be packed into this massive TLC match, which has been officially set for SummerSlam. The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Andrade & Rey Fenix, DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa), The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford), Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer), and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley).

Fans rallied to try and get the previous match onto WrestleMania 41, and were left disappointed when it didn’t make the card. This sentiment spread to those in the match, with The Street Profits noting at the time that they felt the match should’ve been at WrestleMania. The backstage reaction to that match was very positive too, which could have bled into the decision to book this matchup.
