PAC Loses Dragon Gate Championship - Door Now Open For AEW Return?

Open the Dream Gate Champion for 229 days...

In the days before All Elite Wrestling's Double Or Nothing back in May, fans the world over were left heartbroken as the proposed PAC vs. Adam 'Hangman' Page match was cancelled.

'Creative differences' was the reason cited for the cancellation, as PAC lost his place on the card completely and Page was relegated to the Casino Battle Royale.

PAC is said to have been resistant to losing matches while holding Dragon Gate's top title due to his respect for the company and everything they've done for him in the past.

After the Double Or Nothing debacle, fans would have been forgiven for thinking PAC's AEW career was over before it had even begun.

However, during their interview with Chris Van Vliet last month, Nick and Matt Jackson both said that they wanted PAC back in All Elite - Matt even said: "It’s a priority for us and I think we’re gonna make this thing work."

Well, it looks like the door is now open for THE BASTARD to get back into the AEW fold as he lost his Dragon Gate Open the Dream Gate Championship to Ben-K at the promotion's Kobe World Pro-Wrestling Festival yesterday.

PAC's reign ended at 229 days after he won the title back in December from Masato Yoshino.

All Elite's next event is the All Out spectacular on August 31 where Page will take on Chris Jericho for the vacant AEW World Championship.

Will we see PAC there?
