Paige Claims WWE Contract Expires In Mid-2022

Paige recently pondered her future in wrestling

WWE performer Paige has revealed that her WWE contract lapses in mid-2022, despite an earlier indication that her deal ran for considerably longer.

On a recent Twitch stream, Paige discussed her WWE contract, and if WWE would even consider re-signing her at its expiration.

Paige stated, "My contract is up in June of next year. Who knows if they would want to give me a new contract? Who's to say they would want to? If they did, I'd love to have Twitch in the contract."

Paige signed a multi-year deal with WWE in 2019, as was announced on the studio show WWE Backstage. An earlier report from PWInsider claimed it was a four-year deal that ran into 2023, but Paige is now saying otherwise.

Retired from the ring after last wrestling in 2017, Paige has been hopeful for an eventual return from her spinal stenosis. She's remained with WWE in non-wrestling capacities over the past several years.

Paige has been outspoken on the issue of WWE's streaming ban, instituted close to one year ago. Despite WWE's demand for contracted talents to give up their streaming accounts, Paige has notably refused to comply.
