Paige was forced to retire in 2018 due to injury

Paige has seemingly teased a potential in-ring return in WWE after tweeting out the word 'January'.
Paige's one-word post on social media on Wednesday has caused speculation among wrestling fans that the youngest ever WWE Divas champion could be in line for a shock return to wrestling, with January 2022 apparently earmarked as a timeframe for a comeback.
Paige was forced to retire from in-ring performance in April 2018 following a serious neck injury sustained at a live event in December 2017. The Norwich-born wrestler, who had suffered with neck problems in the past, has since undertaken a number of on-screen roles for WWE, most notably serving as SmackDown General Manager throughout 2018.
The inaugural NXT Women's Champion has since worked as a manager for the Asuka and Kairi Sane tag-team, while also appearing on SmackDown via a video link last year.
Paige has been open about training her neck for a potential return to wrestling on social media, and some fans are suggesting a potential comeback at the Royal Rumble - an event renowned for shocks and surprises - could be on the cards.
