After attacking Tay Conti and signing an AEW contract on her rear end, Paige VanZant is officially ‘All Elite’ and will pursue a wrestling career with Tony Khan’s organisation.

A former UFC star, VanZant has also forged a career in the bareknuckle boxing scene, and per a report from MMA Fighting, '12 Gauge' will continue to box as well as wrestle:

“Paige is still under contract with BKFC. The companies will work together to build her career,” said a spokesperson for BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) told MMA Fighting.

VanZant fought for UFC from 2013 until 2020, notching up a 5-4 record across the strawweight and flyweight divisions, and an 8-5 overall MMA record.

In bareknuckle boxing, VanZant is currently 0-2 in the sport, with two more fights left on her contract with BKFC. ’12 Gauge’ also indicated an interest in returning to MMA with Bellator, before signing up to wrestle for AEW.

Before signing with AEW, VanZant appeared several times for the promotion, assisting American Top Team in their war against The Inner Circle, with VanZant peppering Chris Jericho with several bodyshots during one segment.
