Paul Wight Comments On Mercedes Moné Potentially Joining AEW

Long before making her presence felt in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 17, Mercedes Moné has been rumoured to be joining AEW, with many believing she’ll team with Saraya against Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker on the January 11 Dynamite.

Whilst many still believe that Moné could eventually return to WWE it hasn’t stopped the rumour mill, with AEW’s Paul Wight asked his opinion on the ‘CEO’ becoming ‘All Elite’ during a conversation with TMZ Sports:

“I think she’d be a tremendous asset to any company. She’s a star and has an incredible fan following. Any company would be glad to have her. For a long time, everyone got spoiled because there was one company to work for. Now there are multiple viable companies again to work for. It gives talents an opportunity to express themselves and create the deals they want to make. It gives a chance for someone stagnant in one company to reinvent themselves,” said Wight.

Whether Moné ends up in AEW or not remains to be seen.
