Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland Explain Why They Turned On Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch On WWE NXT

Why did Dunne and Holland do it?

Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne have explained why they turned on Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan on WWE NXT.

The faction had only been together for a couple of months following Holland's return to WWE in July, but the group has already broken up as Dunne and Ridge laid out their former stablemates to close out the September 7 edition of NXT.

After NXT, the cameras caught up with The Bruiserweight and Holland and they revealed why they attacked their former friends.

"Oney and Danny are dead weight. As soon as Pete gave me the nod, all bets were off, especially with Oney Lorcan," Holland said.

Dunne then added: "Listen, I told Samoa Joe to his face to go fetch your mate Regal and make the match, and now they want to start putting people in front of me, and make it a 4-Way match. Well listen, people are gonna get hurt."

Dunne had been aligned with Lorcan and Burch since he returned to the black and gold brand in late 2020. Pat McAfee was initially a member of the stable but the former NFL punter has since become the colour commentator on Friday Night SmackDown.
