WWE’s Damian Priest Wants Match With Jeff Hardy

"There’s a lot of legends that are still here and can still go, and I’m game for it."

WWE US Champion Damian Priest recently gushed about Raw’s stacked roster, but out of all the possible opponents on offer to The Archer of Infamy, Jeff Hardy is at the top of his wish list.

In conversation with The Metro, Priest stated his desire to face the future Hall of Famer:

“As far as other people, man, Jeff Hardy can call me any day he wants to get in the ring. I’ll be game for that, it’s Jeff Hardy. There’s a lot of legends that are still here and can still go, and I’m game for it. that’s just talking Raw, we’re not even talking about the SmackDown roster. As far as Raw goes, there’s a slew of guys, but of course, I want the top guys.”

Hardy is a previous holder of the US Championship, having defeated Jinder Mahal for the title in April 2018, before dropping it to Shinsuke Nakamura 90 days later at Extreme Rules 2018.

Priest is in his first reign with the title, having defeated Sheamus for the belt at SummerSlam 2021 in August.
