Philadelphia Eagles' Jason Kelce And Lane Johnson Appear At WWE WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania is always the hottest ticket in town, with all manner of celebrities appearing on both sides of the guard rail. During the Rey Mysterio and Andrade vs. Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar tag match on Night One of WrestleMania 40, a couple of surprises made their way to the ring in the form of Jason kelce and Lane Johnson.

The pair ran to the ring at the climax of the match in lucha libre masks, sending ‘Dirty’ Dom into the ringpost before throwing him in the ring ready for a 619 from his dad, with Rey following up with the Frog Splash for the win.

Kelce’s appearance at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ had been rumoured for some time. The 36-year-old was the center for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 until his retirement at the end of the 2023 NFL season. He won one Super Bowl with the team at Super Bowl LII. Kelce also hosts a podcast with his brother Travis, the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs and boyfriend of Taylor Swift. 

Lane Johnson has been a part of the Philadelphia Eagles since he was selected by the team as the fourth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. He has established himself as one of the best offensive tackles in the game and is a five-time pro bowler. He also won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles.
