Popular Star Turns Heel On WWE Raw

A big heel turn on WWE Raw!

A popular WWE star turned heel during the August 7 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Shinsuke Nakamura was in action on Raw, picking up a win over Bronson Reed, and the King of Strong Style noted after the match that he had grown tired of people getting in his way. That wasn't Shinsuke's only match of the night, though, as he agreed to replace Sami Zayn in the main event after the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion was laid out by JD McDonagh.

Nakamura ended up teaming with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes to take on Judgment Day's Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio and the babyface trio picked up the win despite issues between Rollins and Rhodes. Before the World Heavyweight Champion could celebrate for too long, however, he was taken out from behind by Nakamura and Shinsuke then put Rollins down with a Kinshasa.

Raw went off the air as Nakamura walked away, with Rhodes and Zayn checking on Seth Rollins.

A Nakamura heel turn has been teased in recent weeks and Monday's angle suggests he will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, possibly as early as the Payback pay-per-view on Saturday, September 2.
