Popular WWE Talent Pulled From The Road

On this past episode of Monday Night Raw, the New Day’s Kofi Kingston was having a lot of festive fun on the show, sporting a Santa Claus costume and making a lot of jokes at the expense of the various heel scrooges that make up the roster. Kingston would even aid his old rival Jey Uso, who took on Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium, all whilst in the red and white suit of Santa.

Fans will have noticed, though, that Kingston was without his usual New Day ally in Xavier Woods, who would have no doubt helped out as perhaps an elf or another Santa Claus if he were around. PWInsider have revealed the reason for Woods’ unannounced absence, with him being taken off the road. 

According to the report, WWE removed Woods due to the fact that he is currently banged up, and is being given time away to heal up and recover. Looking ahead, Woods is no longer announced for upcoming dates, as the “New Day” listings now just read as “Kofi Kingston”. 

It is unclear how long Woods will be away from the ring, and the specific details of his condition are not known.
