Positive Update On Rhea Ripley's Injury Status
There is positive news when it comes to Rhea Ripley's injury and return
Nov 9, 2024
Rhea Ripley was written off WWE programming in late October after being attacked by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the NXT parking lot. WWE announced that Ripley had a fractured orbital bone and would be off TV for an undisclosed amount of time. It was confirmed that Ripley’s injury was in fact legit soon after. However, for those worrying about another long-term injury for Ripley (after being out for many months earlier this year and needing to vacate the Women’s World Title), there has been a positive update on her status.
PWInsider have revealed that although there is no timetable on her return to the ring, there was reportedly ‘hope making the rounds’ amongst WWE’s talents throughout this week that her injury may not be as bad or serious as first feared. PWInsider have been told that Ripley is still scheduled for a big role at the upcoming WrestleMania 41 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was reported recently that WWE were interested in a potential Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio intergender match following their lengthy feud over the last year.
