Possible Spoiler On AEW Dynamite Return

A return could be set to take place on tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite.

PWInsider has reported that several people have spotted Powerhouse Hobbs in Salt Lake City, Utah ahead of Dynamite. AEW's flagship show is set to air from Salt Lake City's Maverik Center.

If Hobbs is planned for Dynamite is unknown. He has been backstage at several AEW and ROH TV tapings in recent weeks but regardless, he is in the area ahead of Dynamite.

The former TNT Champion has been out of action for six months following a ruptured patella tendon that he suffered during an IWGP World Heavyweight Title match against Jon Moxley.

Hobbs announced last week that he had been cleared for an in-ring return, saying: "Me being me, I've been cleared. Healed up pretty fast. You know, got that Wolverine serum in me a little bit. But yeah, I'm cleared. I'm back. It's already been put out in the universe and in the internet world that I'm cleared. So, it's time to pick up where I left off".

Matches planned for tonight's Dynamite include a Ladder War for the ROH World Title between Chris Jericho and Mark Briscoe, Shelton Benjamin vs. Sammy Guevara, and Jack Perry & The Young Bucks vs. Daniel Garcia & Private Party.
