Possible Spoiler On Who The Top TNA Star In The WWE Royal Rumble Will Be

The partnership between TNA Wrestling and WWE looks set to extend to the WWE main roster for at least one night, with reports noting that a top TNA star has been pitched to work the Men's Royal Rumble Match on February 1.

It has been heavily speculated on social media that the top TNA star in the Rumble will be TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and there have been further signs that it will indeed be Hendry in the Royal Rumble.

In the latest hint he will be appearing in the Rumble, Hendry has announced he will be in Indianapolis, Indiana - the host city of the Royal Rumble - on January 31 and February 1 for WrestleCon. The Royal Rumble will be held on February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

PWInsider noted Joe Hendry is still planned to appear on the latest Chris Jericho cruise but he will catch up with the ship after Royal Rumble weekend.

Joe Hendry has been TNA World Champion since his win over Nic Nemeth at Genesis. Hendry made several appearances on WWE NXT in 2024, including unsuccessfully challenging Ethan Page for the NXT Title at No Mercy. Hendry also has one main roster appearance to his name, having appeared as a Russian diplomat in a segment with Rusev and Lana on a 2014 episode of Raw.
