Despite a bizarre storyline that has seen Brock Lesnar claim he is retired from professional wrestling, there will, in fact, be a second match between Lesnar and Oba Femi at Sunday's Clash in Italy pay-per-view from Turin's Inalpi Arena.
Oba Femi won the first match against Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, defeating the seven-time WWE Champion in dominant fashion, but the series will seemingly be tied at one win apiece on Sunday. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar is considered the favourite amongst those in WWE with knowledge of future plans.
What exactly WWE's plans are for Brock Lesnar beyond Clash in Italy is unknown but WrestleVotes Radio has further noted that Lesnar is expected to continue making appearances on WWE programming. One of those appearances won't be at the July 18 episode of Saturday Night's Main Event from Madison Square Garden.
Other favourites for Clash in Italy amongst people with knowledge of future WWE plans are Roman Reigns in his World Heavyweight Title defence against Jacob Fatu and Rhea Ripley in her WWE Women's Championship match against Jade Cargill.
The other two matches announced for WWE Clash in Italy are Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Title and Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
