Potential Injury Suffered At WWE NXT Live Event

There may have been an unfortunate injury suffered at an NXT live event last night

It could be bad news for an NXT name as word has spread of a potential injury taking place. NXT’s Cora Jade has only been back on the developmental brand for a few weeks after making her return from a lengthy absence at the recent NXT Deadline PPV where she attacked the NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. She may now be out of action again.

NXT held a live event last night in Dade City, Florida, and Jade took on her rival Valkyria in a match for the NXT Women’s Championship in the main event of the show. During the match, Jade was selling a leg injury, though in doing so, she appeared to legitimately land awkwardly on her leg. According to fans in attendance, there were a few awkward spots following this.

Another person who was in attendance, X user @GamingParenting, posted some photos which showed Jade laid out on the mat, being tended to by both a trainer and the referee, which isn’t a great sign. There has been no news on WWE’s end yet when it comes to Jade’s condition, though Jade did post on X with a gif that had the caption, “I laugh to keep from crying.” If Jade is indeed injured, we wish her a speedy recovery.
