A new merchandising opportunity emerged for WWE on Saturday night as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide presented Triplemania XXXIII from Mexico City, Mexico.

AAA's biggest show of the year featured several WWE talents, including Finn Balor who teamed with Judgment Day stablemates JD McDonagh and Raquel Rodriguez in a losing effort to Mr. Iguana, Lola Vice, and Nino Hamburguesa. Mr. Iguana utilised La Yesca, his puppet iguana, during the match but Balor had a counter in Demonito, a puppet version of his demon alter ego.

Fanatics quickly began selling Demonito puppets on WWE Shop following Triplemania and the puppet "immediately sold well", according to Fightful Select. The special event item is priced at $99.99 but may not arrive until December.

WWE announced the acquisition of AAA over WrestleMania 41 weekend and the deal is believed to have been completed earlier this month. WWE's plans call for AAA to be utilised as a developmental territory that will see luchadors progress to NXT and then the WWE main roster.
