Although no official announcement has yet been made, it has become common knowledge that WWE WrestleMania 42 will be heading back to Las Vegas, Nevada for the second year in a row. This comes after WWE decided to cancel the planned New Orleans WrestleMania in what is believed to be purely a monetary-driven incentive, as TKO are hoping to replicate the success of WrestleMania 41 - something they didn’t think possible with a New Orleans WrestleMania.
WWE have been reportedly aware of much of the fan backlash towards this change, delaying any official announcement. Fightful Select have learned of some promotional material being filmed, which sounds very much like it could be the first steps in WWE’s announcement for a second Las Vegas WrestleMania in a row.
It was noted that backstage at SmackDown last night, Triple H filmed some promotional footage that featured the phrase, “anything worth doing, is worth doing twice”. There is a good chance that this becomes the tagline for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, though there is no official confirmation about what this line pertains to as of yet. In terms of any further details, Fightful notes that there was a black SUV involved in the filming.
