Potential WWE Plans For Jade Cargill Revealed

Jade Cargill may not be moving to the main roster if she does arrive in WWE

Jade Cargill might not be heading straight to the WWE main roster.

Cargill only returned to All Elite Wrestling on the September 9 edition of Collision as she rekindled her programme with Kris Statlander over the TBS Championship. This will lead to a match on Friday night's episode of AEW Rampage, which was taped last night in Cincinnati, Ohio following Dynamite.

Cargill ultimately lost to Statlander at the taping in their rematch for the TBS Championship and this immediately fuelled speculation about why AEW would have Cargill lose on a Rampage taping. It has since emerged, though, that Cargill is likely finishing up with AEW and the belief within both AEW and WWE is that Cargill is WWE-bound

In an update, PWInsider noted that AEW sources believe Cargill's deal with the promotion expires as early as this week. There were discussions about Cargill re-signing but "nothing new was ever agreed to" and she is not scheduled for any more AEW appearances. Cargill's loss to Statlander came across as her farewell, according to those in attendance, who noted that she was "teary-eyed."

Cargill has been a part of AEW since late 2020 and she went 60-0 before losing to Kris Statlander in an impromptu match at Double or Nothing 2023. Cargill may not be given such a spotlight immediately upon arriving in WWE, though, as some in AEW reportedly believe that Cargill "is heading to WWE for the NXT brand."

Cargill previously had a tryout in WWE but she chose to sign with AEW instead at the time.
