Powerhouse Hobbs Comments On Winning The TNT Title

Powerhouse Hobbs turned his Face of the Revolution Ladder Match win on last week's edition of AEW Dynamite into gold on the March 8 episode of AEW's flagship show as he defeated Wardlow in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to capture the TNT Championship.

Hobbs picked up the win with the assistance of QT Marshall as QT first decked Wardlow with several chair shots before he and Hobbs worked together to Powerbomb the TNT Champion through a platform near the commentary desk. Wardlow was then counted out to hand Hobbs the TNT Title and end Wardlow's second reign after only three days. 

Hobbs commented on his win in a digital exclusive video posted to All Elite Wrestling's YouTube channel and the new champion was more focused on getting out of Sacramento than his title victory. 

"Since we're in California, I'm gonna get the hell out of this s**thole, Sacramento, and take my ass back to Oakland. You suck, the Sacramento Queens suck. Like I said last week, there's a new chapter in the Book of Hobbs, and it's the TNT Championship. Now have a good night, and kiss my black ass," Hobbs said.
