AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs makes his entrance during an AEW show in 2024.

AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs has confirmed that he is cleared to return to action.

During a recent interview with In The Kliq, Hobbs said:

"Me being me, I've been cleared. Healed up pretty fast. You know, got that Wolverine serum in me a little bit. But yeah, I'm cleared. I'm back. It's already been put out in the universe and in the internet world that I'm cleared. So, it's time to pick up where I left off".

The 33-year-old has been on the shelf for six months after rupturing his patella tendon. Reports from a few weeks ago indicated that he was ready to come back to action.

Hobbs didn't specify exactly when he would return to AEW programming, choosing to vaguely state: "You've got to stay tuned. You never know when I may show up".

The former AEW TNT Champion suffered the injury during an IWGP World Heavyweight Title match with Jon Moxley on the April 24 edition of Dynamite.

Prior to his layoff, Hobbs was a member of the Don Callis Family. The stable added a new member on last night's episode of Dynamite.
