Pretty Deadly Make WWE Main Roster Debuts

Pretty Deadly debut on the WWE main roster

One of WWE NXT's top tag teams made their main roster debuts over the weekend.

WWE held a house show in Jackson, Mississippi on Saturday, January 7. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods addressed the fans in attendance at the show until they were interrupted by Pretty Deadly. The two teams then faced off inside the squared circle, with The New Day coming out on top over their NXT rivals.

Pretty Deadly then headed to Huntsville, Alabama for WWE's house show on Sunday, January 8. Kit Wilson was in singles action on that show in a loss to Kofi Kingston.

The New Day and Pretty Deadly have been feuding on NXT over the past month, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeating Elton Prince and Kit Wilson for the NXT Tag Team Championships at Deadline on December 10. Their programme has continued since then and Pretty Deadly will be a part of a Gauntlet Match at New Year's Evil on January 10 to prove they deserve a rematch for the tag belts.

Following a run on NXT UK, Pretty Deadly headed to NXT in April 2022. They are two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
