On this day in 1996, Scott Hall invaded WCW.
The former Razor Ramon would show up on World Championship Wrestling during a match between Steve Doll and The Mauler and declare war on WCW and its talent.
He would then crash the broadcast booth too, and demand that WCW send three of their best guys for a war. It was a start of WCW beating WWE in the ratings for 83 weeks.
It was also the start of the New World Order.
One of the most famous factions in professional wrestling ever, the founding members were inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame earlier this year. But the group has welcomed many, many members across their various iterations and different promotions.
