The show, 13 years ago today, was main evented by a Buried Alive Match that saw the winner qualify for the 1999 Royal Rumble.
The Buried Alive Match stipulation has only been used on a handful of occasions in WWE. The bout-type has only been seen five times since its inception in 1996 and has not been used by the promotion at all in the last 11 years.
