WrestleMania 28, due to WWE moving away from this model in 2014, remains the highest-grossing pay-per-view in pro wrestling history with a 1.3 million buyrate. The event was built around a clash of generations in the main event and the titanic confrontation had been built up for a year since WrestleMania 27.
Beyond the main event, though, WrestleMania 28 had a lot of good things going on, although guessing some of the matches is horrendously difficult, even for a show that only took place on April 1, 2012.
