On the January 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, R-Truth interrupted Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar to announce he would be entering the Men's Royal Rumble match. Truth was seemingly confused, however, as he declared he would eliminate Heyman from the match. Lesnar's manager then confirmed he was not in the Rumble, but The Beast Incarnate was. The former 24/7 Champion then became the first Superstar in history to undeclare themselves from the Royal Rumble as he didn't want to visit Sioux Falls City.

The segment then ended after R-Truth jigged around the ring, only to dance into a clothesline from the WWE Champion. Lesnar then delivered an F-5 to Truth, putting him out of commission for the evening.

According to R-Truth, Lesnar was very happy with the segment and has been pitching ideas to WWE Creative so they can continue working together. He revealed in a recent interview with

Scott Heisel at Uproxx

that Lesnar had thought of a couple of ideas for a future programme and that they spoke about future plans after the January 13 episode.

Truth said: "Brock actually has been pitching ideas. He wants to work with me doing something because of that segment. He pitched a couple ideas. He and I talked afterwards. The sky's the limit. This business is always changing, and I'm always changing with things."

While nobody expects their interactions to lead to a pay-per-view match, Lesnar has appeared on Raw more frequently in 2020, meaning a match for the WWE Championship on a future episode cannot be ruled out.
