Rachael Ellering, Brian Pillman Jr Highlight Next AEW Dark Episode

Nine matches in all...

AEW has announced nine matches for this coming week's edition of AEW Dark, one of which features a recently-released NXT performer working their first match in a year.

Rachael Ellering (formerly Rachael Evers) will wrestle Penelope Ford as part of the show. This will be her first match since July 27, 2019, when she wrestled Lacey Lane at an NXT live event, coincidentally enough in Jacksonville.

Ellering was released from WWE in May. Reports indicated that complaints she'd made about the medical staff preceded her release.

Other notables working on Dark include Brian Pillman Jr, sudden cult favorite Griff Garrison, and the only man Chris Jericho hates more than Orange Cassidy, Pineapple Pete.

The full card for this Tuesday's AEW Dark is as follows:

*Penelope Ford vs. Rachael Ellering

*The Butcher and The Blade vs. Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian of SCU

*Billy and Austin Gunn vs. M'Badu and Shawn Dean

*Rey Fenix vs. Lee Johnson

*Shawn Spears vs. Alex Chamberlain

*The Hybrid 2 vs. The Natural Nightmares

*Private Party vs. Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison

*Kip Sabian vs. Michael Stevens

*Jurrasic Express vs. Aaron Solow, Pineapple Pete and Corey Hollis
