Randy Orton, Jade Cargill & More Advance In King & Queen Of The Ring Tournaments

Several big names advanced to the King & Queen Of The Ring quarter finals

The first round of the King & Queen Of The Ring tournaments continued on last night’s May 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, as six more wrestlers advanced through the SmackDown side of the bracket. 

On the women’s side of things, Jade Cargill powered through Piper Niven in a battle of powerhouses, Nia Jax defeated Naomi, and Bianca Belair ran through Candice LeRae, cementing their respective spots in the next round. The match between Tiffany Stratton and Michin will take place at an upcoming live event. 

Over on the men’s bracket, Randy Orton beat AJ Styles in the main event of the show, Tama Tonga defeated Angelo Dawkins in his first WWE singles match, and Carmelo Hayes defeated the brand new babyface Baron Corbin, who was recently called back up to the main roster. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar will also take place at a WWE live event this weekend. 

The confirmed matches for the Quarter Finals thus far are Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark, Nia Jax vs. jade Cargill, Ilja Dragunov vs. Jey Uso, and Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes.
