It was reported over the last week that Karrion Kross was scheduled to be in a taped segment on Friday Night SmackDown on November 3, but this was cut from the show without any explanation. Fightful Select in a new report has revealed the reason for Kross’ lack of appearance on SmackDown.
It turns out that the segment was not actually filmed at all, but due to some confusion and communication issues, the nixed segment was still appearing on run sheets ahead of the show airing. The reason for the segment being canceled (which was also set to involve Scarlett and Shotzi) was due to it not making sense for anyone involved, according to WWE sources.
It isn’t clear what the plans for the segment were supposed to be originally, and it isn’t known when or how Kross will make his return to WWE programming. Scarlett and Shotzi recently appeared together at NXT Halloween Havoc as the hosts for the event, but Kross was not involved.
