Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay have exchanged words on X
WWE’s World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and NJPW’s current IWGP UK Champion Will Ospreay have been poking each other for several months when it comes to wanting to work a match with one another, and they have done so again.
At last night’s Crown Jewel 2023 premium live event, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre in a back and forth encounter. Ospreay responded to a tweet from WWE posting about this victory with the “eye emoji”. Rollins would reply to this with a tweet of his own, stating “The water is warm”.
Ospreay has made it no secret that he would be open to joining WWE when the time comes, with Rollins being someone who he wants to do battle with. Ospreay’s contract with NJPW is coming up very soon, with him set to be the hottest free agent on the market. Ospreay managed to outlast Shota Umino at NJPW Power Struggle yesterday, and will defend his gold against both David Finlay and Jon Moxley at Wrestle Kingdom 18 before his contract expires.
