Reason Why Kevin Patrick Missed WWE Raw Revealed
Kayla Braxton took over backstage reporting duties on Monday's Raw
Eagle-eyed WWE fans will have noticed that Smackdown backstage correspondent Kayla Braxton was on Raw this week, conducting interviews and hosting RAW Talk in place of usual reporter Kevin Patrick.
Patrick only joined the WWE team a few weeks ago, but the reason for his absence has been revealed.
The former CNN and Fox Sports broadcaster missed Raw this week because his wife went into labour, giving birth to a baby girl.
Patrick himself would confirm the news on social media, writing on Twitter: " Our hearts are full. Maisie Rose Egan joined the party yesterday, and I promise we won’t stop smiling any time soon.
"A little beauty, named after my lovely Grama in Chicago. I’m beyond thankful for my incredible wife, Meg. Welcome to the world, little lady."
Braxton would also confirm the happy news at the start of Raw Talk.
