Reginald Missed WWE WrestleMania 37 Due To Illness

He was last seen on the go-home episode of Smackdown

One of the biggest questions out of WrestleMania 37 was: Where was Reginald?

Carmella's former sommelier has previously been heavily involved in the Smackdown Women's Championship picture and, in more recent weeks, associated himself with WWE Women's Tag Team champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

However, Reginald was conspicuous by his absence from WWE's 'Showcase Of The Immortals', not accompanying Jax and Baszler to the ring for their title defence against Natalya and Tamina on Night Two.

His lack of involvement was noted by fans and fellow superstars alike, with NXT UK's Amale asking on social media asking why Reginald was nowhere to be seen at WrestleMania 37.

Her Tweet promoted a response from the man himself, with Reginald responding 'malade', indicating he was sick and therefore unable to be involved in the show.

Last week's go-home Smackdown show ahead of WrestleMania 37, was the last time Reginald was seen on WWE television. That episode was pre-taped from the week prior.

Recruited to WWE in January 202 when he began training at the Performance Center, Reginald previously worked as Akeem Young before being brought up to the main roster as Carmella's sommelier.
