Ren Narita Joins House Of Torture At NJPW World Tag League

A controversial booking decision in New Japan Pro-Wrestling! 

Shota Umino and Ren Narita have been tag team partners for the past couple of months, with their alliance coming together following the end of the Best of Seven Series between Strong Style (Ren Narita, Minoru Suzuki, and El Desperado) and the team of Yuji Nagata, Shota Umino, and Master Wato. 

This led to Umino and Narita teaming together as part of World Tag League 2023 but Narita had seemingly had enough of his fellow Reiwa Musketeer as Narita abandoned Shota during their match today against House of Torture's EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi. Narita watched on at ringside as House of Torture beat down Umino and just as Shota was about to fire back, he was choked out by Narita from behind. 

With Umino down and out, EVIL presented Narita with a House of Torture t-shirt which Narita quickly put on, confirming he was the newest member of the deeply unpopular faction. 

House of Torture now consists of EVIL, Dick Togo, SHO, Yujiro Takahashi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and Ren Narita.
