Report: 2point0 Originally Planned For Spot On AEW Dynamite

They were planned for a key spot

New AEW tag team 2point0 were originally scheduled to appear on the August 25 edition of Dynamite.

The team of Matt Lee and Jeff Parker weren't involved on Dynamite but their stablemate Daniel Garcia attacked Darby Allin following the former TNT Champion's six-man tag team match with Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley against The Wingmen.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that 2point0 were set to be involved in a key spot in the match but that plan was scrapped as Matt Lee wasn't in Milwaukee for Dynamite.

No reason was given for Lee's absence but the AEW wrestler noted earlier this week that his son Jack was born on Sunday afternoon.

There is no word on when Lee will return to AEW.

2point0 joined the company earlier this month after their WWE releases. They quickly formed an alliance with independent wrestling star Daniel Garcia and the faction immediately feuded with Sting and Darby Allin before also making enemies out of Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston.
