Report: 'A Lot Of Chaos' Within WWE

Chaos within WWE, it seems

The WWE Draft has caused 'chaos' within the company, according to a new report.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Bianca Belair referred to herself as the SmackDown Women's Champion after being drafted to the blue brand on April 28. Later in the same show, though, Rhea Ripley was billed as the SmackDown Women's Champion, having defeated Charlotte Flair for the gold at WrestleMania 39.

Meltzer noted there is "a lot of chaos" within WWE at the moment and people are being told different things, which then change.

"It's very clear that again, people are being told different things that change all the time...there's a lot of chaos right now," said Meltzer.

Bianca Belair is the Raw Women's Champion but she has been drafted to SmackDown, while the blue brand's champion Rhea Ripley has been selected by Raw. WWE could book a belt exchange, similar to when Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair swapped brands in 2021, but that has not been confirmed.

There have been more issues behind the scenes within WWE since Vince McMahon returned to the top of creative after the company's sale to Endeavor. Last-minute rewrites have been more common in recent weeks due to McMahon's interference with show scripts.
