Report: A Lot Of WWE Talents Unhappy With Wrestler 'Trying To Get Himself Over' In Men's Royal Rumble

Drew McIntyre wasn't the only wrestler unhappy following the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

It was reported shortly after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view/premium live event concluded that Drew McIntyre had stormed out of Lucas Oil Stadium and he was spotted "screaming and cursing" backstage that "someone had to get their moves in" at the expense of a number of stories in the match. One of the moments that went wrong reportedly revolved around McIntyre's own elimination from the Royal Rumble, which came at the hands of Damian Priest shortly after Logan Paul entered at number 30.

Dave Meltzer has since reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that McIntyre wasn't the only one unhappy and there were "a lot of people" who were unhappy about a wrestler "trying to get himself over and not the match over" in the Men's Rumble.

"Even before it [the Drew story] came out, I had heard it and somebody goes, 'Don't worry, it's a work.' And then that same person came back later and just goes, 'Oh God, I just figured he was doing that because it was in front of everybody', and just said there's a guy that a lot of people were p*ssed at in that match with the idea that he was trying to get himself over and not the match over and he was doing things…It's multiple people telling me the Drew thing, he wasn't happy. It's not an angle. If they end up doing an angle with the person later, which there's no hints of anything, but the reason I heard it was because I heard that Drew was not the only one unhappy about the situation," Meltzer said.

It is unknown who the wrestler that several talents were unhappy with is. The Men's Royal Rumble was ultimately won by Jey Uso as he last eliminated John Cena. The 16-time world champion wasn't disheartened by his loss, though, and he has already declared for the Elimination Chamber.
