An injured WWE wrestler is nearing a return to the company, according to a new report.
WrestleVotes has noted on WrestleVotes Radio that Kiana James should be on her way back to WWE TV soon as she is either on the verge or has already been medically cleared for a return to in-ring action.
James has not wrestled since the Summer of 2024 when she suffered a serious leg injury. James' injury occurred only a couple of months after she had been called up to the main roster following WrestleMania 40 as part of the 2024 WWE Draft, along with the likes of Lyra Valkyria and Ilja Dragunov.
James only had four matches on the main roster before her injury. This included two wins on Main Event in May 2024 over Natalya and Ivy Nile before another win over Natalya on the June 3 edition of Raw. James then lost a Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifier on June 17, 2024 and she hasn't stepped inside the squared circle since.
Kiana James debuted with WWE in February 2022 on NXT. She is a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion, having held the gold with Fallon Henley.
