Report: AEW Discussing Creative Plans For Brian Cage

AEW are still considering plans for Brian Cage

A possible sign about Brian Cage's pro-wrestling future has emerged.

According to Fightful Select, the word backstage within All Elite Wrestling was that there have been "some creative pitches" for Brian Cage and The Embassy.

The Machine's future in All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor is currently uncertain as he has reportedly only agreed to work for the Tony Khan-led promotions through Supercard of Honor on Friday, March 31. His deal was set to expire before the agreement was reached.

Cage was said to be open to exploring free agency as of last word, and there is believed to be interest from WWE in the former IMPACT World Champion. He has also been offered a contract extension by AEW that is comparable to his current deal with the promotion. Fightful further noted that Cage has yet to re-sign with AEW.

The 39-year-old is one-third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Kaun and Toa Liona. They have been champions since defeating Dalton Castle & The Boys at Final Battle in December 2022.
