Report: AEW Limiting Kenny Omega's Matches While He Deals With Injuries

All Elite Wrestling are only booking Kenny Omega in important matches while he deals with multiple injuries, according to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer. 

"They're not wasting Kenny Omega matches. He's too banged up. He's only wrestling important matches," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The Best Bout Machine has been working a hectic schedule in 2021 and he is currently a world champion in AEW, IMPACT Wrestling and AAA. This has taken a toll on Omega's body and he is "hurting pretty badly" at the moment.

The Belt Collector also recently admitted that he has so many issues he sometimes wakes up and considers retirement, saying: "I'm not gonna lie, it's been getting difficult. I've got a number of issues with me physically and sometimes I wake up and I think, 'Man, I think it's almost time to hang it up.' 

"This is actually the first time I've kind of had to step out in public and say this. Because these are things that in my one day off-two days off, even if I do nothing, if I just rest, they're not going away they're just getting worse."
